Brodie Cambourne MSc BSc (Anatomy Physiology)
Brodie is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who also has a passion for introducing people to water based activities for both recreation and rehabilitation. Brodie lives on the South Coast NSW, Australia and trains on the beautiful lakes around Berringer Lake and Lake Conjola. Brodie is passionate about the wildlife in these areas after the 2020 fires destroyed much of the habitat around the lakes. Brodie uses Stand Up Paddling as part of her health business and is able to teach all paddlers about the benefits of paddling for postural strength, mental health and functional breathing, whilst also taking paddlers on a tour of her favourite lake. Brodie is also a Certified Oxygen Advantage Functional Breathing Coach and has been applying the principles of functional breathing to water sports through her competitive paddling adventures over the past 10 years. Brodie has been involved in ultra marathon kayak paddling and has participated in numerous ultramarathon events as an open female paddler Her major ultra-paddling achievements to date are as follows: Winner Open Female Massive Murray Paddle 2018 and 2019, 404km Winner Open Female RPM 200 2018 and 2019, 2021 200km Winner Open Female Hawkesbury Classic 2018, 100km Winner Open Female Clarence 100 2019, 100km Winner Open Female Myall Classic 2019 ,47km |
